Biography

Hugh Edward (Ed) Warner - Dartmouth, NS.

Our dear brother, Hugh Edward (Ed) Warner, entered eternal life on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at age 74. He passed away at the VG Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Port Hawkesbury on May 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret Warner.

Ed was a kind and considerate man who was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed his years living in Dartmouth, especially his time at Eastwood Manor where he enjoyed helping others and socializing amongst friends. Ed will be missed by his feline companion Cheeta, who spent many a night on the couch with him watching his favourite sports teams, the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Blue Jays.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 6A at the VG Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion given to our brother. A special thanks is extended to Father Paul MacIntosh, Franciscans of Halifax, for his spiritual guidance, scripture readings and prayers with Ed.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or local food bank are appreciated.
